Blockchain gamers: Increase over the past 30 days even in a bear market = DappRadar

User activity in decentralised applications (DApps) for blockchain games spiked in September, with many games seeing a significant increase in the number of active users.

DappRadar data.According to the "Number of unique wallet addresses interacting with dapp smart contracts" has increased in seven of the top ten games over the past 30 days, with increases in all five of the top games over that period.

At the time of writing, DApps that have grown during this period include the web3 gaming platform Gameta, blockchain-based games Alien Worlds, Solitaire Blitz, Benji Bananas, Splinterlands, Farmers World' and 'Arc8'.

DappRadar states that one of the reasons for the rising popularity of blockchain games despite the bear market is the idea of 'bleeding on the bear and running on the bull'.

'The idea that stacking up virtual currency and investments in a bear market will pay off in a bull one is largely proven at this point.'

The game with the highest user growth was Benji Bananas (Polygon) under the Animoka brand, which has increased by 2016.541 TP2T over the past 30 days. It is worth noting that the game was a Web2 mobile app until March this year. Animoka then introduced a play-to-earn (P2E) element via Ape Coins (APE) in partnership with Bored Ape Yacht Club.
